Healthy Living: Accountability for Eating Habits
Tip 3: Anytime you are adjusting your diet I think you need a support system in place. Locate a coach or join a healthy meal planning service to help you stay on track with healthier eating.
Face the reality of changing life for a healthier me
Tip 4: Don’t fool yourself into thinking that if you eat a piece of cake everyday or some fried chicken two times that you can work it all off. It just does not work like that. Once thing I have learned and still have to practice daily is that eating healthy is no joke. You have to determine that you will eat right, just say no, and get real with your eating habits. Then and only then can you adjust them.

Healthy Living: Create a Baseline
When I first decided to start a 21-day Healthy Living series, I reached out to my co-contributors and asked what should be the first thing I do. The consesus was to create a baseline for all areas that I will be concentrating on during the series.

Below are key areas that I will include in my baseline that will affect my exercise routine, eating habits and mindset for this series.
- Nutrition (include details about where I am now and where I want to be)
- Exercise program (include different options such as walking & working out)… Continue reading →

Tip 1: While becoming a vegan is not the answer for everyone; incorporating more vegan meals into your weekly meal plan is a smart idea. If you are not into tofu, just focus on vegetables, grains, legumes, and fruit for your meals and snacks. You can also try the vegan convenience foods like Amy’s and Boca products. Just note that while they are healthier options than their non-vegan, they are not as healthy as fresh fruits, vegetables, grains, and legumes.
