Affiliate programs work when both parties have an investment in the success and readily support the partnership. I just recently re-launched my affiliate program with lots of robust media and opportunities for the affiliates. Now I'm training my affiliates to create a win-win scenario where they can build a solid revenue stream from our relationship. I build ethics into the front end of the process and pave the road with integrity. Trust is a key aspect of any partnership.

This is something that I am just now learning about. Thanks for providing some information to start other business owners thinking about the possiblities. I must say that I agree with you. If I were to participate, I would use the criteria that you just listed because my 23 years in business has built me a reputation that I must guard and protect. Is there any affiliate code of ethics?

We've thought about using affiliate links in our website since there are so many opportunities in our features & articles, however we've read that Google doesn't like affiliate links and it affects your pagerank. I'm curious what you know/think about using affiliate links & how it affects SEO? Great article, thx for the tips!
