A mind map is a diagram used to represent words, ideas, tasks, or other items linked to and arranged radially around a central key word or idea. It is used to generate, visualize, structure, and classify ideas, and as an aid in study, organization, problem solving, decision making, and writing.
In order to create my mind map, I use both an online version (Mind Meister) and desktop version (Freemind). I have found that when I need to share a mind map that the online version is best. But if I’m going to be on the go without access to the internet, I use the desktop version. The best thing is that the online allows you to import the desktop version files.
There are a number of strategy tools available that you can use to help you grow your business. Do you have specific tools that you can use to create strategy tools? Would love to hear about the tools you use.

I’ll have to check out Mind Meister. I use a mind map at http://www.bubbl.us for planning. It really helps me a lot, and this video from YouTube helped explain to me WHY mindmapping works so well for me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MlabrWv25qQ I’m a very non-linear thinker…but then maybe we all are. There’s also a really good place for Mind Map sharing, and that’s
at NovaMind Connect where
they have hundreds of example mind maps and you can upload your own (so
long as you use NovaMind, which I do). Even if you don’t use NovaMind
you can still download them in jpeg or pdf format.
